'New Maternity Home' is a digital copy of a photocopy of an item published on 18 April 1903, held in the Hopetoun closed social work file at the Salvation Army Heritage Museum WA. A handwritten caption shows the item comes from the War Cry. It gives information about the forthcoming opening of a new maternity home for 'upwards of twenty young women and their babes' in Fremantle, which became The Open Door. The item describes the facility.
