The first folio lists the boys who sailed on the MV Cheshire from London for Dhurringile and requests the equipment allowance for each. Correspondents include Rev. L Cameron (Chair of the Church of Scotland Committee on Emigration), Rev. A Bell, Cyril Bavin, the Overseas League, and Australia House reporting to the Commonwealth Government. There is also a sprinkling of newspaper cuttings around the arrival of children and the official opening of Dhurringile, 31 July 1951, and a copy of the pamphlet 'His Future', concerned with Dhurringile [taken from the Research Guide: 'Good British stock: child and youth migration to Australia'].
NOTE: There is a digital copy of these records available on the National Archives of Australia website.
