'Second Salvation Army Rescue Home' is a digital copy of four photographs mounted on two pieces of paper and held in the Summer St. Rescue Home closed social work file at the Salvation Army Heritage Museum WA. The typed captions on the item show that the item was prepared in 2009. The images show the first (Claisebrook Road) and second (Summers Street) locations of the Salvation Army Home for Neglected Girls, or 'Rescue Home', in East Perth. A caption also confirms that the Claisebrook Road house was demolished in 2007. Although the caption identifies the Summers Street property as the second rescue home, a memoir written by the officer who established the Home shows that it was the second location of the original Home.
