Title
Saving a Nation's Daughters
Description

'Saving a Nation's Daughters' is a digital copy of an item published in the War Cry on 2 April 1927, held in the Seaforth Boys closed social work file at the Salvation Army Heritage Museum WA. It has images of the Seaforth Salvation Army Girls' Home, including photographs of girls on the 'giant stride' and a young woman with a calf. It gives a glowing account of the Home, and describes it as a 'moral hospital' where girls, who were there through their own 'wrongdoing', could turn their lives around through Christian principles.
