This is a digitised copy of a photographic print and is part of the Victoria Hobbs collection of photographs held by the State Library of Western Australia. The image shows staff and patients at Nurse Mulder's Maternity Home at 84 Varden Street, in the suburb of Piccadilly in Kalgoorlie. This was a reasonably large 'lying-in' or maternity home and was typical of others operating at the time in Western Australia.
