The State Records Office of Western Australia (SROWA) holds a collection of records created by Sunday Island Primary School. Sunday Island Primary School was a government run school that took over the education of children on Sunday Island in 1955 following the closure of the United Aborigines Mission school at Sunday Island Mission. The collection includes records about children's admission to and attendance at school, records of punishments of children, teacher reports on examinations and student progress, journals of the head teacher, general correspondence, teacher time books, and reports of the district superintendent's inspections of the school.
