This series contains Charge Books created by the Perth Children's Court, later known as the Children's Court of Western Australia. It includes records about sittings for children charged with offences at the Perth, Fremantle, and Rockingham courts. These records are likely to include information about children who were placed into state care.
The majority of records in this collection have restricted access for 100 years from their creation in order to protect personal privacy. However, there are some records with open access, such as those older than 100 years. Please contact the Children's Court of Western Australia for permission to access restricted records. For access to open records please contact the State Records Office of Western Australia.
