Description

'That There was Love in This Home: The Benedictine Missionary Sisters at New Norcia' gives information about the history, focus and purpose of the Benedictine Sisters, who ran St Joseph's Native School and Orphanage, New Norcia. The complexities of the bonds formed between the Sisters and the Aboriginal girls and young women at the orphanage are discussed, as are the tensions involved in the first 'reunion' in 2001.
