'Sister Kate Fete' is a letter from the Western Mail newspaper. The letter is from Horace J. Minors, the Superintendent of the Boys' Home at Kenwick which was also called the Kenwick Farm School. The letter says that produce grown on the farm will be sold at the Sister Kate's fete. Mr Minors thanks donors for improvements to the farm buildings including 'new linoleum, wardrobes, new dressing tables, urn' and other items which he said made everything look 'very bright and nice'.
