The Aborigines Act 1928 (Act no.3631 ) was fully titled "An Act to consolidate the Law relating to the Aboriginal Natives of Victoria. " It was assented to on 12 February 1929 and came into operation on 18 December 1929. In 1957 it was repealed by Aborigines Act 1957 No.6086.
