Melbourne Orphan Asylum Records (MS 13168) is a manuscript collection held by the State Library of Victoria. It includes records about former residents of the Melbourne Orphanage and the Melbourne Orphan Asylum, including case files and admission records, as well as records like minute books, scrapbooks and accounting records.
Access to these records is restricted. Permission to view material in this collection must be obtained in writing from OzChild. The patron must then contact the State Library of Victoria's Australian Manuscripts Collection in advance, material will not be retrieved on the spot.
