The Mental Diseases Hospitals Act 1929 also named 'An Act to amend the Mental Diseases Hospitals Act'(Act no.20 Geo. V No.29) amended the Mental Hospitals Act 1858 (Act no. 22 Vict No. 22) adding a 2 year limit on for recovering and making a complaint about money owed to Mental Disease Hospitals or the courts for provision of services. This act was repealed by Statute Law Revision Act 1934 (25 Geo. V no.78) on 31 May 1938.
