The Master and Servant Act 1942 has the full title 'An Act to amend the Master and Servant Act 1856 '(Act no. 6 Geo. VI No.65). This amendment empowered the Chief Inspector of Factories to negotiate or lodge a complaint on behalf of a worker regarding unpaid wages under 30 pounds. This act was repealed by Statute Law Revision Act 1958 (No.36) on 24 July 1958.
