Apprenticing the Children of the Queen's Orphan School Amendment - amendment 1841 has the full title 'An Act to amend an Act passed in the Second Year of her present Majesty intituled An Act for apprenticing the Children of the Queen's Orphan Schools in this Island' (Act no.5 Vict. No.8). This legislation seems to be primarily aimed at employers of apprentices, and tells them what they must do if their apprentice 'abandons' them or runs away. This act was repealed by The Queen's Asylum Act 1861 (Act no. 25 Vict. No.5).
