The Maintenance Act 1934 with the full title "An Act to amend the 'Maintenance Act 1921'"(Act no.25 Geo. V No.61) makes explicit the court's power to alter details of any order previously made relating to the maintenance of children or wives, and the right of people to challenge pre-existing orders or subsequent changes to orders. This act was repealed by Statute Law Revision Act 1934 (25 Geo. V No.78) on 31 May 1938.
