Dennis Daniels was a child welfare officer for the Tasmanian Social Welfare Department during the 1960s and 1970s. He later became its Director. In this interview, Daniels discusses his involvement with the removal of Aboriginal children and government policy concerning Tasmanian Aboriginal communities, including the removal of Aboriginal families from Cape Barren Island to mainland Tasmania.
