The Statutes Amendment (Domestic Partners) Act 2006 (Act No.43/2006) was passed on 14 December 2006 and commenced 1 June 2007. Its full title is 'An Act to amend the Family Relationships Act 1975 and various other Acts to provide for recognition of certain domestic relationships'.
