The Children's Protection and Young Offenders Act Amendment Act 1990 (Act No.21/1990) was passed on 26 April 1990 and commenced 1 January 1991. The Principal Act was repealed by the Statutes Repeal and Amendment (Children's Protection and Young Offenders Act 1993 on 1 January 1994
