The Inter-State Destitute Persons Relief Act Amendment Act 1955 (Act No.28/1955) was passed on 1 December 1955 and commenced 1 December 1955. The Principal Act was repealed by the Maintenance Act Amendment Act 1965 on 27 January 1966.
