Smith Family is an unpublished manuscript collection at the State Library of South Australia. It comprises papers of the Smith family of Rivoli Bay and Mount Gambier comprising correspondence of James Smith, newspaper cuttings relating to the South East of South Australia, reminiscences of Christina Smith (Mrs James Smith) and tannery account with M.H. House, of Christina Smith. The Smiths were involved in the running of the Mount Gambier Aborigines' Home from 1865 to 1967.
