The Seaford Youth Support Unit was established at Seaford by the government in 1980 and took over part of the role of the Christies Beach Family Home which closed the same year. The Youth Support Unit provided outreach services to young people. The closing date for this Unit is not known.

The Seaford Youth Support Unit was established at 24 Lyndhurst Avenue, Seaford by the Department for Community Welfare in 1980. It took over part of the role of the Christies Beach Family Home which closed the same year.

During the 1970s-1980s the department placed emphasis on developing community initiatives for young people in State Care, with the aim to support them in, or re-integrate them into, their own communities. The Youth Support Unit provided outreach services to young people in Seaford and surrounding areas.

The closing date for the Youth Support Unit is not known.
