Description

This description was supplied with the photograph and included in the library catalogue: Queensland Government's new Epileptic Home at Willowburn, Toowoomba, was officially opened by her Excellency Lady Goold Adams. The institution covers an area of 440ft. by 440ft., and cost 26,562 pounds to erect. There is accommodation for no fewer than 80 patients. One of the pictures shows the building and the other the official party at the opening, Lady Goold Adams being in the centre of the group, with Mr. Huxham, Home Secretary on the right.
