This act with the full title "An Act to amend the Children's Services Act 1965-1978 in certain particulars"(Act no.75/1979) details the registration of child day care centres, and the responsibilities of people employed under the Children's Services Act 1965 (Act no.42/1965) to disclose information that 'is likely to be material to detecting, preventing or dealing with cases of child abuse or neglect', but in other circumstances to keep private other information gained through their employment unless before a court of law or requested to do so by a court of law. This act was repealed by the Statute Law Revision Act (No.2) 1995 (Act No.58) on 29 November 1995.
