This amendment with the full title "An Act to Amend "The Infant Life Protection Act of 1905" in certain particulars"(Act no.12 Geo.V. No.18). This amendment sets out the powers of the Director of the State Children Department to remove children from out-of-home care, rules around adoption by relatives of children and who can be present in the judicial proceedings of courts dealing with complaints about out-of-home care providers. This amendment was repealed along with the Infant Life Protection Act 1905 by the Children's Services Act 1965 on the 1st of August 1966.
