Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School, Thursday Island is a Catholic primary school with the main campus on Thursday Island and an annex on Hammond Island. The first Catholic school on Thursday Island was established by the Daughters of Our Sacred Heart who handed over control to the Catholic Diocese of Cairns in 1967.
