The Family database for Aboriginal Lutherans of Central Australia includes data from birth and death records and baptisms for many locations in Central Australia covering the period 1900s to 1980s. It was put together by the Finke River Mission. The records may include information about people from the following language groups - Arrernte Alyawarra, Pintupi, Luritja, Pitjantjatjara and Anmatyerr.
Most records held in the Lutheran Archives are available for inspection. Some records have closed or restricted access and private records that are less than 30 years old may not be open for research without written premission. Records relating to individuals may also be subject to restricted access. Please contact the Lutheran Archives for further information about access to this database.
