Global Interaction became the subsequent of the Australian Baptist Missionary Society around 2003. The Baptist Church's missionary services to Central Australia were originally run by the Australian Baptist Federal Home Mission Board. In 2021, Global Interaction was renamed to Baptist Mission Australia.
