The Admission Registers from St Joseph's Girls' Home comprise three volumes. The amount and detail of the information recorded in the Admission Registers varies. The first volume (1880-June 1964) records: child's name; date of birth; date of admission; religion and date of removal. The second volume (April 1959-January 1970) records: child's name; date of birth; date of admission; last school attended and class enrolled in. The third volume (1971-79) records: child's name; date of birth; date of admission; name of person or institution seeking admission; last school attended; date of discharge and name of person to whom discharged.

Records

The Archives of Mary MacKillop and the Sisters of St Joseph held the records of St Joseph's Girls' Home until 2013, when the records were moved to CatholicCare Adoption Services Bankstown, now known as Family Spirit.
