They record information such as: date of admission; name of child; date of birth; address of parents or guardians; parents' names; place of birth; reason for admission; place of baptism; date of discharge; to whom discharged; and remarks. Note that copies of these registers are held by the Catholic Children's Homes Enquiry Service.
