The Admission Registers from St Magdalen's Retreat (from 1948, known as the Good Samaritan Training Centre) are held at Good Samaritan Archives. They comprise three volumes containing basic information such as: name of child or resident; date of admission; date of birth; and age at admission. In some cases, but not all, additional information may be given such as: parents' names; discharge date and details of to whom child was discharged.

Access Conditions

Access is restricted to former clients or residents, who are able to access information about themselves. Family members may access information about a relative if they can prove their relationship to that person.
