Carisbrook, in Auburn, was run by the Baptist Homes Trust. It was the second AS White Children's Home and was officially opened on 7 December1975 by Miss Dorothy White. It was a children's home until 1989, when, the child care programs were reassessed. Carisbrook then became a home for young people aged twelve to eighteen who experienced difficulties living in the normal home situation. The program closed in 1995.
