A group of former state wards of the notorious Parramatta Girls Home are pushing for the Parramatta Female Factory Precinct to be redeveloped as part of a global network of historic sites dedicated to remembering struggles for justice. Parragirls, a network of more than 350 women who lived in the home, are calling for the cluster of buildings, some of which pre-date 1840, to be considered as an international Site of Conscience.
