Premier YouthWorks (PYW) was established in 2002. It originally provided out-of-home care to young people in crisis in New South Wales. It began its work in the Australian Capital Territory in 2004. In 2005, PYW was contracted to provide Stabilisation Assessment and Transition (SAT) Units in the ACT. In 2014, Premier YouthWorks continued to provide out of home care in the ACT.
