The site (http://institutionforboystamworth.com/) was set up for research into a PhD at Bond University. The site was taken down from the internet in April 2012.

The aim of this research is to look at the effects of the institutionalised routine on juvenile males, who did not have criminal records. It will also supply historical information concerning the 'Forgotten Australians'. The site includes questionnaires for inmates and non-residents, such as staff members.
