The Inside blog "is for sharing reflections on the experience of people who as children were placed in institutions. "The Inside exhibition [in November 2011] is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, as part of the Forgotten Australians: Our History project...This blog will trace [the] progress, share news, and showcase contributions - mostly from adults who were in out-of-home care as children, but also from others who have reflected on those children's experience as an outsider". Australians who have experienced out-of-home care as a child are invited to contact the Museum if they want to write a post as a guest author, and/or leave a comment on any of the pages or posts [taken from the Inside: Life in Children's Homes exhibition blog, February 2010].
