Description
This article refers to children from rural Victoria with cases of paralysis being sent to Red Cross convalescent Homes in Melbourne. 'Four men and youths, the youngest of whom is 16' are reported to be at Rockingham in Kew (a psychiatric convalescent Home for servicemen). Five girls, mostly in their teens, were at Lady Dugan House in Malvern, and a 3 year old girl from Leongatha was staying with her mother at Welfare House in St Kilda.
