Description
Lack of demand for residential childcare has closed Wollongong's Dr Barnado's Home. Dr Barnado's Homes' Australian general manager Mr T. Price said yesterday demand for the home's service had decreased since 1970. The home opened in the early sixties and catered almost exclusively for British migrant children.
