Group Home is the name given to a model of care where small groups of children are accommodated in buildings similar to a family home. By the late 1970s, group Homes were either scattered (ie in the community) or clustered (located with other group Homes on a campus, usually where there had previously been a children's Home). This type of accommodation was later known as a Family or Residential group Home.
