The members of the review team were: Austra Maddox, Acting Executive Officer of the Handicapped Persons Welfare Section of the Federal Department of Social Security; Graeme Yeoland, the Executive Officer of the Handicapped Persons Services in the Department of Community Welfare, and Geoff Leverett from the Retarded Citizens Welfare Association. The review includes histories of the Retarded Citizens (formerly Children's) Welfare Association and Yalambee Hostel as well as descriptions and critiques of life in the hostel.
