In January 2016 the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse held public hearings in Hobart for Case Study 36, inquiring into the response of the Church of England Boys' Society and the Anglican Dioceses of Tasmania, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane to allegations of child sexual abuse.
