Access to the collection is provided via the Department of Human Services, Records Management Division.
The Records held by Highgate Park Heritage Room include:
Annual Reports, Financial and fundraising records, General administrative records, Rules and Regulations, Minute Books, Visitors' Books, Letter books, Nurses records and manuals, Miss Industry Quest records, News clipping books, Photographs, Building plans and a limited number of patient related records.
The Heritage Room also holds museum artefacts such as furniture, crockery, medical equipment, plaques, and other memorabilia. The Room includes a library of books, reports, magazines and journals which relate to the history of the Home.
We do not currently have any records linked to this organisation, but records may exist. The Find & Connect Support Service can help people who lived in orphanages and children's institutions look for their records.
