Glenside Campus Mental Health Service of the Central Northern Adelaide Health Service was the new name given to the Glenside Hospital in 2007. Redevelopment of the Glenside Campus site began in 2009. This included changes to the Mental Health Service at Glenside. A brochure produced by the State Government stated the intended new facilities:
'The transformation of the Glenside Campus will include: a new 129 bed, $100 million+ hospital, new health buildings, a 15 bed mental health intermediate care facility and 40 supported accommodation places.

According to the Health SA website a new Intermediate Care Centre opened in 2010 and 20 Supported Accommodation housing units opened in 2011. Construction of Stage 1 buildings was completed in November 2012 with staff and clients moving into the new buildings in December 2012. The redevelopment of the Glenside Campus, including the Mental Health Service, was continuing in 2014.
