Seanachai House was the new name for the Waverley Hostel from 1988. Run by the Catholic Church Seanachai initially provided short term transitional accommodation for young people who had left school and were finding employment. In June 1989 Yoorana, a therapeutic cottage in Westbourne Park, moved to the Dulwich site. At this time Seanachai retained its name but changed its purpose and became a therapeutic cottage for children who required more specialised care. Seanachai closed in December 1997.
