Westbrook relied upon visiting professionals from Brisbane or Toowoomba for medical, judicial, dental and psychiatric care until the 1960s. This series records the observation and treatment of boys made by the official visiting Psychiatrist.
Details recorded include:date of visit, number of visitor, name of pshychiatrist, name of boy, and recommendations/observations or "orders".
From 1979, a resident psychologist was appointed for the first time to provide for the daily needs of the inmates.
