Trigg Hostel was established by the Home Mission Society of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney in 1979 in Granville. It replaced the Trigg Working Boys Hostel that had previously been located as part of the Church of England Boys’ Home, and briefly on the site of the Church of England Girls’ Home in Molly-Trigg Cottage in Carlingford. It took its name from one of the cottages at the Carlingford Boys’ Home. It became part of the Charlton Youth Services in 1985 and operated as a group home until it closed in August 1997.
