The archival collection Sydney City Mission photographs and a drawing includes 130 photographs, a water colour drawing, 65 lantern slides and 13 slides that depict Sydney City Mission activities, including children’s homes. These drawings, photographs and pictures are held by the State Library of New South Wales.

This archival collection is divided into four archival series, or parts. Each archival series has been given a call number (a code used by librarians to identify records and items). The four archival series are described in more detail below.
