The Statute Law Revision Act 1986 (Act No.14/1986) was passed on 20 March 1986 and commenced 24 July 1989. Its long title is ‘An Act to amend the Adoption of Children Act 1967, the Building Act 1971, the Children’s Protection and Young Offenders Act 1979, the Community Welfare Act 1972, the Mining Act 1971, and the Parliamentary Superannuation Act 1974’.
