Description: This is a copy of an image from the State Library of New South Wales. Caption: School soup queue, Belmore, 2 August 1934 : During the Depression, the Parents and Citizens' Association at Belmore North Public School served over 300 bowls of soup to the children of the unemployed each day and distributed warm clothing in winter.
