Riverina Juvenile Justice Centre at Wagga Wagga was established by the Department of Youth and Community Services in 1984. In 1991 it was transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice. It has a capacity for 45 detainees. Riverina Juvenile Justice Centre is still operating in 2013.
