Records

The records of the Minstering Children’s League in Tasmania were donated to the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in 2006. They contain primarily administrative records relating to the activities of the MCL. A small number of records in this collection relate to the Ministering Children’s League Convalescent Home (1900-1950), however it does not appear that this collection contains any records relating to children at the home.

The collection includes:

  • Legal Records (1907-1979)
  • Minutes of Meetings (1934-2005)
  • Annual Reports (1962-1996)
  • Financial Statements (1931-2005)
  • Correspondence (1946-2006)
  • Newspaper Cuttings (1930-2005)
  • Photographs (2001-2006)
  • Miscellaneous Items and Ephemera (1915-2003), including publications created by various MCL branches
